I have the pictures all out of order so you will have to read the captions and figure out which pictures goes with which.

Madison will be starting pre-kindergarten tomorrow and she can hardly wait. I'm sure she'll have her classmates whipped into shape by the end of the day.

One of the biggest would have to be Hudson's 2-year cardiology appointment. He is improving by leaps and bounds so his doctor said she doesn't need to see him until he is 4 years old. The largest opening in his heart has decreased to 3 mm. in size, comparable to 10 mm. that it started out as. His favorite song he loves to sing is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" (it is cute, but I'm biased).

Porter started 1st grade a couple of weeks ago and has lost almost as many teeth as he is old. He will be singing "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" by Christmas. I think Hudson misses him the most while he is gone all day.

We just returned from our last hurrah for the summer. We roughed it for 4 days in what Jonathan calls "elk camp". We endured a 2-mile hike on some pretty treacherous terrain. Hudson was so sleepy we put him in Jonathan's hunting pack and he carried him all the way back to the truck. I was obsessed with trying to find huckleberries. One time I thought I did, but it was some Oregon grape, in Idaho of all places. So we came home with some fun memories and a stench that will permeate through the house until I get caught up on laundry.

Love to all of you and thanks for being such great people!

Apparently I don't seem to be updating my blog often enough. Well, today may not be the day to do it because I am on the grouchy side. The pump on our well went out this morning before I could shower. At least I was able to brush away my morning breath. It sure is a lot like losing electricity; every time I go to start a load of laundry, wash the dishes, or even worse use the bathroom, I remember we have no water. Wouldn't that be a site trying to flush the toilet while Jonathan is out in the well house fixing the pump. So while my husband is here at home there is no work getting produced for our company. I told you today would not be a good day for me to blog.

I know, I know I am way behind on my blog. Christmas came and went along with my 32 birthday. Madison asks me, almost everyday, how much longer until her birthday. Well, October is a long ways away.

Porter asks how long until his summer break and when he gets to be a first grader. I have thought about making a chain, and then I come to my senses and just tell him how long.

Jonathan is loving the self-employed life. He has done some traveling, and will do a lot more in the spring. He has been preparing for and taking different tests so he can be certified in many different things; i.e. certified to test back flow devices, recieved his public works license so he can bid on schools and other state things; and he is also licensed in Oregon. He is so glad to have all of those things out of the way.

Hudson just woke up from his 3 hour nap (very rare) so I better go!

Love, Amy

I figured I better try my hand at creating a blog so I can keep up with the rest of you technologically savy people. I don't really know how many exciting things I have to share, but I guess we'll find out.

Porter is loving school. His Aunt Jenny always asks him what the most favorite part of his day is and he went from saying recess to computers.

Madison is my 4 year-old going on 16. She just had her 4th birthday and is now wondering when she will turn 5. In a nutshell, these last 2 sentences describe Madison, so need I say more?

Hudson is roaming all over the place. He loves to play in the bathroom, lift the toilet seat, grab stuff out of the garbage, unroll the toilet paper, throw things in the bathtub, and anything else while I'm trying to get ready for the day.

Jonathan is very rarely here between his work inspections and hunting. So you can guess how high my stress level is right now. Oh, well, this too shall pass and I hope I survive to tell about it.
